Artists and civic activists gathered at the Animating Democracy Initiative Learning Exchange in Flint, Michigan were inspired to create this Convergence in part by Grace Lee Boggs of the Boggs Center in Detroit. She was the most eloquent but not the only speaker to express frustration at the limited ways we think about and practice social change, and her thoughts sparked further insight.
